Studio MARTINEZ LLAGUNO

Martínez Llaguno is an architecture, interior design and urban design practice founded by Santiago Martínez and Aída Llaguno in 2016.

At ML, we see a building’s brief as an opportunity to rethink how space can be used in the most functional and interesting way. We enjoy creating spaces that can be used in many different ways and accommodate different uses over time. Aesthetically, we are interested in spaces that convey warmth, as well as dynamism and vitality. Energy sustainability is central to each of our designs, and we always use passive bioclimatic strategies to achieve thermal comfort. Our ecological approach is to maximize vegetation within each project, seeking to contribute to the surrounding ecosystem.

At ML, we also specialize in producing detailed construction documentation that enables rigorous and efficient management of the construction process.
